February is Heart Smart Month

That’s because February is the month when a variety of American and Canadian organizations, associations and charities get together to remind us that heart disease is still the #1 killer in the United States and #1 killer of women in Canada.
We selected a few images from our collection that are great choices if you’re working on “heart smart” projects.

CELEBRITY: Grammy 2012 Line-Up

Here are a few pics of the some of the confirmed performers and nominees at the event.
Adele will appear in her first public performance since surgery last year. The British singer is nominated for 5 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year, for "21".
Rihanna is nominated for several Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for "Loud".
Taylor Swift has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards including Best Country Song for "Mean".

CELEBRITY: Queen Elizabeth II Celebrates Diamond Jubilee
Posted: February 10, 2012 Filed under: Celebrity, Entertainment, News 2 Comments »Monday, known as Accession Day in the Commonwealth, was the quiet beginning of five months of events for Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family as she celebrates 60 years on the throne.
Traditionally, Accession Day is not celebrated in the United Kingdom, as it marks the passing of the previous monarch. Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne after the death of her father, King George VI, on February 6, 1952.
The highlight of her Diamond Jubilee celebration will be a long holiday weekend in the U.K. in early June, when the Queen and the royal family will lead a flotilla of 1,000 boats on the River Thames. Sir Paul McCartney will headline a concert performed in front of Buckingham Palace the same weekend.

Elizabeth is the 2nd longest reigning British monarch.
